St. Petersburg Beach Weddings
St. Petersburg Beach is a little more “relaxed” than Clearwater Beach with fewer hotels and more homes and
condominiums. We call it St. Petersburg Beach but in reality it’s a series of small towns and beaches that are strung
together. You can easily pass through three towns without realizing it. :)
You won’t find as many big resort hotels for your Florida beach wedding on St. Petersburg beach but you will find
plenty of smaller, more “local” places to stay. (the exception being the famous Don Cesar Hotel) You can have your
wedding on the beach right behind your hotel or, with a short drive, be at some of the best wedding beaches on the
gulf coast.

St. Pete/Pass-a-Grille
Pass-a-Grille beach is a beautiful long strip of powder white
sand that has ample parking (metered) and can
accommodate anything from a small wedding of two to a
party of 50 or more. There are a couple of restaurants
directly across the street that can accommodate a small
reception. The biggest plus to Pass-a-Grille beach is that the
parking is very close and doesn’t require as much walking for
your guests to get to your beach wedding site. This can be a
factor with older guests sometimes.
Sunset Beach: 8000 West Gulf Blvd, Sunset
Beach, FL
Located in Treasure Island, Sunset Beach boasts a
boardwalk, rock jetty, white sand, and a Pavilion that can be
rented for a reception just off the beach. For information on
renting the Sunset Beach Pavilion click here. There is a
large parking lot with metered parking with easy access to
the beach. Sunset Beach is in the middle of a residential
area so there are no large hotel chains or restaurants just off
the beach. It is ideal for a more private wedding. If you would
like more information regarding this location or renting the
Pavilion, please call us.
